EXCLUSIVE: Mokujin's role in Lucky 7

Personally to me Mokujin is one of the most innovative characters in all of fighting games. I mean a wooden person that can take on the move set of everyone in the game? That's pretty cool.

I'm happy they have kept Mokujin since Tekken 5 because Combot was such a fail. I mean the fun of Mokujin is the fact that he changes style nearly ever round (I say nearly because I rem: one tournament where I got Moku-Ling 3 times in a row... yes, wtf?). Combot only changed his style once a match, which was nowhere near as fun.

Also unlike Dural from Virtua Fighter or Raidou from DOA, Mokujin is not a pastiche of all the best characters moves but more of a chameleon that evolves from round to round. It's a sure sign of a talented gamer who can use Mokujin competently. With the advent of Tag 2 around the corner, one can only wonder if Moku will be able to change characters after tagging out like he was able to in the original Tag. If so, I can only imagine the new combo opportunities.

Anyhow, onto to Mokujin's role in the 777 combo video. As this video illustrated, Moku's role is going to be taking over and finishing the combos of other characters. It might start with the original combo do-er but it'll merge into a Mokujin ender. I think it'll be a cool visual effect if used properly and I am looking forward to using it. I am actually surprised no-one has done this before so I think this might go down well with the masses.

On a related note: I found out something today that might take the Lucky 7 video to the next level. I was really excited for this video before, now, if this works out, I am going to be ecstatic.
