Well thanks to my awesome wife, I now have my own Xbox 360 with a copy of Tekken 6. Ironically, this is on the one month anniversary of me premiering the intro to this very combo video.

I have been extremely busy working on some great combo videos. Only problem is I can not direct capture so I am saving all the good stuff for that.

I am going to wet your appetite tho with this exclusive preview of Another Way 2 Die (AW2D): Zafina Combo Video Part. 2. The best is yet to come!

Preview!

Just a quick one. An advanced preview of the intro I put together for my forthcoming Zafina combo video.

Progress

As you can see from the side bar, I have a couple new projects planned.

One is the Lucky 7 Combo video, the sequel to F' Yeah (my Cincy/ N. Ky clan) 666 combo video (which I have previous re-posted on this very blog under 'Rebirth').

We have all been working hard and finding 7 hit 77 dmg combos so I know this project should be unleashed by the end of this year.

The other project is of course "Another Way 2 Die" my second Zafina combo video. This video I feel will be light years ahead of my previous effort since I have now been able to experiment more with the T6/ BR combo engine.I expect this video to really blow some minds and set the standard for Zafina combo videos to follow.

Plus both of these project will be direct captured which is something I really want to do since the game is at home now and not the arcade (where we couldn't direct capture).

So your patience will be rewarded. The best is yet to come!

Death by Zafina (part 2)

So now it is actually uploaded, here is the director's commentary for my Zafina combo video. I picked the song 'Desert Rose' by Sting and Cheb Mami mainly because of Cheb Mami. I felt he brought a real exotic, unquie feel that sums up Zafina pretty well. I knew for sure that this song would have been music claimed if I uploaded it on YouTube through so I actually found an alternate song (which ironically was music claimed too but thankfully is allowed).

Since I changed the music I decided to subtle change the combo order as well so some combos are in different places compared to the YT version. Also one big mistake I made with the original version was I did not credit Damon/ CoCoichi properly. I wrongly creditted everyone but him. My bad man. I made up for it on the YT version and I do believe the YT version will be the version seen by most people any how.

Also as I stated on my YT version, I do believe this is just the beginning. I have tons more combos ideas for Zaf which I will be exploring in my later videos. The 'To Be Continued' is definately not like one of those music video 'To Be Continues' which actually do not continue at all.

Death by Zafina (part 1)

So it turns out that Blogger does have limits. I have been trying to upload my alternate cut of my Zafina combo video to no avail. I have realized through that it maybe because of the size of the file. So I have decided to cut it in half.

Now without no more fanfare. I present... Zafina Combo Video (Director's Cut).

A quick video showing a special trick Bruce can use to beat Azazel the final boss of T6/ Bloodline Rebellion.

This trick works for Zafina and Lili as well, through sometimes Azzy will tech Zafina's unblockable if you do it too slow.

Rebirth

I promised my friend Dave that I would re-upload this video after it got music claimed on YT. This video really only makes sense with the original music, the version that is avaliable on YT is a very poor subsitute.

It was a cool concept that he came up with and we ran with. We actually found a lot of similar combos in the earlier Tekken. I wonder if there will be any 666 combos in Tekken 6? LOL didn't that sound funny? 666 in 6.

Oh and yes as the disclaimer said, we are not Satanist or anything like that. It just a concept combo video, so no crazy comments thank you.

New Logo

Just giving y'all a sneak peak at the Tekken logo I created for any of my new projects. I will be using this for my combo videos and maybe some match videos as well. I created this mainly because I was getting tired of seeing the same opening credits which people have hijacked from other sites/ Namco themselves.

The actual logo itself is inspired by a TNT show called 'Dark Blue'. The opening credits is are very similar. I also intetionally left the T and N on Tekken for near the end because as I understand, people can usually read words by their first and last letter. The music is from Prison Break (lol I just realized I used two tv show intros as inspiration for my intro). I always wanted to use it for a video.

A New Beginning

Well this is my 3rd blog under the blanket of my blogger account. I must admit it's nice to have the luxury to have multiple blogs.

This blog here will be my blog for uploading my own videos and commentary. I used to use Rants & Raves for that but I think a dedicated blog will work better.

In the next couple weeks I will be uploading (or re-uploading to be exact) a lot of stuff and because this is blogger I won't have to worry about copyrighted music (YESS)

So yep, this is a new blog, a new beginning.
